Help teachers create personalized learning materials more easily.
Our early prototype worked across subjects, but something was missing—a clear, urgent purpose that our team felt best positioned to tackle.
That changed during a semester teaching English in Morocco where our cofounder juggled five classes (100+ students), spending 7+ hours weekly on prep, 3+ hours learning Arabic, using 6 edtech tools, and paying $100 out-of-pocket— to meet her students' diverse needs.
The real challenge isn’t just time—it’s the overwhelming need for adaptability in language classrooms.
Across the world, passionate teachers, by all definitions, are thrown into situations where they must teach students with vastly different proficiency levels, learning backgrounds, and native languages.
But without the right training or resources, they’re left burnt out and unsure how to personalize instruction effectively. Existing tools weren’t built for this complexity, forcing teachers to spend hours manually adjusting materials and guessing what might work—when all they really need is a solution that helps them adapt with ease.
136+ teacher interviews and months of research later, WizLab became what it is today:
An AI-native teaching assistant designed specifically for language educators
A time-saver that handles lesson planning, activity creation, and presentation generation in minutes
A personalization engine that auto-adapts materials to every learner's needs
